Hello Parents!
I hope you are enjoying the beautiful weekend – seems like fall here to stay. ? On the Children’s Chorus schedule, we have musical tryouts this Sunday from 12:30-1pm in the choir room. This tryout is for kids in grades 3-5 and we will be doing some reading and singing. The reading excerpt can be found on our Christmas Musical page (password is sing) and the kids can sing a familiar song or one that we are working on in choir.
This tryout is NOT mandatory for all kids in 3rd-5th, but I’m hoping that families who are already at church and attending a community would stick around for a few more minutes. There are two remaining opportunities for tryouts, this Sunday at 12:30 and this Wednesday during rehearsal. I want every child in 3-5 to have a chance to tryout so please make sure to send your child to tryout on Sunday if you will not be here this coming Wednesday.
One small detail: I have already heard almost all of the 5th grade students so they would not need to come to any further tryouts.
