Wow! What a wonderful Christmas Concert we had last week! Christ was honored, souls were stirred, and the good news was proclaimed in Chicago!

One of my neighbors who came for the first time sent this text to our neighborhood group: “Good evening, Pastor Philip, thank you for the early alert on the tickets, my friend who joined me, and I enjoyed ourselves very much. Kudos to everyone involved in the production, especially your amazing orchestra. They were very tight! The Eleanor Rigby tie-in was great too ? Merry Christmas to all!”

I’m so grateful for the way everyone pulled together to make the concert happen! This truly was an all-hands-on-deck event. I especially want to thank our music ministry team, choir,
and orchestra, our tech team of audio and visual arts, our connections team, ticketing team, cookie social team, Philip Teams, facilities staff, communications, graphics, media, and administrative support teams.

We had well over a hundred volunteers and dozens of staff members who rallied together to get the job done. A big thank you to each and every one of you! I’m so grateful to get to serve and be a part of such a wonderful church family.

You are loved, more than you know!
