Greetings from Albania! Pastor Bill Van Tuinen, Krista, and I are having a wonderful time visiting the various ministries we support here in Tirana and Korçë. The regime of communism lies in the not too distant past, having fallen in 1991. The evangelical church is therefore a young one, having just over 35 years of history. But in those few decades, God has done an amazing work, drawing many to Himself. I’ve been encouraged by the passion of the Albanian church as well as the progress of the Gospel in a rapidly modernizing country.
Please continue to pray for us as we connect with key ministry partners. I’m speaking six times over the coming days, and will be doing a couple television and radio interviews as well. We’d appreciate your prayers for our continued health and stamina as we minister.
This Sunday, we’ll be blessed here at The Moody Church by the preaching of Pastor Justin May as he opens God’s Word to us. I appreciate his combination of wisdom and insight with a dash of humor, which makes his teaching deeply compelling. I know we’ll be blessed!
