Dear Moody Church Family,

Summer camps are one of my favorite annual traditions for our youth. Research shows that summer camps often play a pivotal role in a child’s decision to follow Jesus. As a parent, I am also excited for my kids to partake in camps that are fun, done with excellence, and filled with Jesus! Our summer camps consistently provide opportunities for our young people to enjoy Christian fellowship with one another as well as providing new students easy on-ramps to get plugged in with our Moody Church family. Every year new families become a part of our church because of their children’s experiences at camp. If you have friends or neighbors with kids, be sure to invite them to camp!

Check out our website (www.moodychurch.org/camp) for the most up-to-date information and registration details. Here’s the summer camp lineup:

  • TBD: Kids Jam Music Camp—Held at The Moody Church forkids ages 0-5 and their parents/guardians. Led by Shannon Carter, this camp allows children to explore music appreciation in a structured learning environment.

  • June 10–14: Chicago Eagles Soccer Camp—Ages 5-15. We partner with the Chicago Eagles for this week-long camp of great soccer instruction and biblical teaching. Reach out to Pastor Justin if you are a high school student interested in serving with this ministry.

  • July 7–13: Camp Lake Ann—Held at Lake Ann Camp in northern Michigan for grades 3-12. Lake Ann offers five age-specific camp programs, giving kids activities and chapels designed just for them.

We’re so grateful for your consistent financial giving, which makes these camps accessible to more people in our congregation. We’re also thankful for all those who invest their time to equip our children with the knowledge of Jesus and a passion to share Him with the world! Please be praying for these camps and the campers who will attend.

Together,

Bill Van Tuinen | Pastor of Global Outreach and Stewardship
