As a church family, we’re learning what it means to Change Your World through Mission.

Right now, in each of our Communities, we’re leaning into Jesus’ call to everyday mission where we live, work, learn, and play. God has supernaturally and strategically placed us within a circle of influence with people far from Jesus but near to us. We might be the closest thing to Jesus some people ever experience. What if we got purposeful about showing and sharing the love of Jesus with the people nearest to us? What might that look like? And where would we start?

During this 4-week study, in each of our Communities, we’re exploring the mission Jesus sends us on and practical ways to carry it out. Here is an overview of what we’re covering:

  • We All Have a Mission to Join: Jesus’s mission—the Great Commission—is a hefty one, but completely doable with Jesus at the helm! Jesus calls ordinary people to make disciples. Your mission is to join Jesus on His mission.
  • We All Have a Sphere to Influence: God has strategically placed people who are far from Him near to you for the sake of the Gospel. These folks may not be interested in coming to church, but the church (you!) can go to them! Who in your sphere needs Jesus?
  • We All Have a Love to Show: Good deeds establish goodwill that opens doors for the Good News. In other words, showing the love of Jesus opens hearts to receive the Gospel. How will you build relational bridges for the furthering of God’s kingdom?
  • We all have a story to tell: Your Gospel-saturated story is one of your greatest tools for sharing your faith. We’ll explore practical tips for framing your story so that the Gospel is clear and Jesus is the Hero.

It’s not too late to join a Community and learn what it means to join Jesus on mission in your world. Come see us in the Connection Center, and we’ll be glad to help point you in the right direction! Because we’re loved, more than we know, now it’s time to go and be the church!
