Who We Are
YMYF includes families and marriages from newly-marrieds to couples with kids in college. Because our focus is both “family” and “marriage,” single parents and couples without kids are also welcome. Pastor Bob Gunter, assisted by the class leadership team and his wife Linda, teach what the Scriptures require for lives which lead to godly marriages and families. The focus is clear exegesis of biblical texts, robust discussions and practical counsel for finding and following God’s will and living God’s way.
YMYF meets on Sundays at 11:30am in Room 108 at The Moody Church following the Sunday Service.

YMYF Summer Meet Up

What to Expect:
Pottawatomie Park offers a fantastic variety of ways to spend the day. Free activities include:
- Exploring the ADA-accessible playgrounds
- Walking or cycling along the scenic Fox River trails
- Visiting the sensory garden.
Families can also make use of the picnic areas, sand volleyball courts, and beautiful native plant landscapes at no cost.

Bob Gunter
Pastor Bob is the former Pastor of Family Ministries at The Moody Church, where he focused on strengthening marriages and families through biblical teaching, counseling, and discipleship. Prior to his pastoral role, he practiced law for more than 28 years and later served as General Counsel and Vice President at the Moody Bible Institute. He continues to be active in family and marriage ministry.
