Summer Blast

July 22nd-25th, 2024

Summer Blast is a fun week where kids ages 4* – Grade 5 can meet new friends and learn more about Jesus through an active, age-appropriate program. From 9am-12 noon each day, children discover the day’s theme through games, songs, teaching, crafts and even snacks. It’s a blast!

Frequently Asked Questions

On Monday you may bring your child as early as 8:40 am. Because of the number of children participating, you may expect a brief wait in line. Your child will receive their name tag and crew assignment, and you will receive your parent security tag.


Tuesday through Friday, check-in opens at 8:45am. Each day’s program begins at 9am.

We have three options for temporary parking while you drop off or pick up your child. Parking attendants will be stationed at each area to assist you:


TMC West Lot (corner of North & LaSalle)parking map
For families with several children attending, parking is temporary, but will allow the extra time needed for check-in.

Single file parking with flashers limited to about 10 minutes is available here. Please enter through 1635 LaSalle Street doors.


1630 N Clark (southbound)
Single file parking with flashers limited to about 10 minutes is available here. Please enter through 1630 Clark Street doors.


Thank you for working with us to make drop-off & pick-up as convenient as possible!

Please plan to pick up your child promptly at noon from the closing session in our sanctuary each day. Please have your parent security tag with you as you will need to present it to your child’s group leader for pick up. If you lose your security tag, you will need to visit the Registration Help Desk (located in the 1630 lobby) to present a valid photo I.D. that matches the name of the parent or authorized pick up listed on your child’s registration form.


If you need to pick your child up early, please come to check in at the Registration Help Desk. We will bring your child to join you there to be officially signed out.

Yes, but they must have the security tag with them. If you are unable to give the tag directly to that person or send them a photo of the tag,  there will be a special kiosk at the registration station to visit. At this kiosk, you (or whomever is dropping them off that day) may leave your child’s security tag along with the name of the person who will be picking up your child that day. That person must present valid I.D. that matches your specifications to receive the security tag. They may then present it to your child’s group leader for pick-up.

Yes, the children have a snack each morning related to the day’s Bible Story. If your child has specific food allergies or dietary restrictions, please note this on your registration form or contact us by phone or email. Red allergy bracelets will also be distributed during check-in each morning.
