On Sunday, November 23, we are going to have a very special celebration of 100 years of ministry in our sanctuary building. Pastor Lutzer and I will be collaborating in a service of thanksgiving for God’s goodness to our church and a prayerful look to the future. Please mark your calendars and make plans to join us!
Here are some of the things we are looking forward to on that day:
- A special service reflecting the historic 1925 dedication.
- A reception with refreshments.
- An exhibit showcasing artifacts and the history of the sanctuary’s design— celebrating a century of changed lives at this location.
- Free admission to the Chicago History Museum that day only.

As we approach this significant milestone, let us remember that as beautiful as our building is, what really matters are the people whose lives have been transformed by Jesus in this place and the Gospel movement that has gone forth from these walls to bring hope throughout Chicago and around the world! God has been so faithful to us for so many years; may we continue to be faithful to Him for years to come!
We are indeed loved, more than we know!
