It’s a big week for our Moody Church Media team. On Monday, the new daily radio program Living Hope launches nationwide. The program’s name is based on the powerful truth found in 1 Peter 1:3, God “has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.” The Gospel truly changes everything! It gives meaning to our suffering, purpose to our living, and grace for every challenge we encounter. Each program will feature relevant teaching from God’s Word, followed by an interactive discussion with Pastor Larry McCarthy where we apply God’s Word to your daily life. It’s Gospel truth for The Journey of a Lifetime!You can listen locally beginning tomorrow at 11:00am on WMBI 90.1 FM. You can also watch and listen to the program on YouTube or your favorite podcast platform.
This program launch was a huge team effort. Our Media Ministry has been working tirelessly for months to bring this about. John Lee and Corbin Wisniewski crafted the program discussion flow. Mike Arman and Chris Butler handled video and audio production. Micah Shumate leads our Media Ministry team and serves as the program producer. Michael Pitts provides overall leadership for our Media strategy. Pastor Larry McCarthy Jr. is my co-host. John Nasby is our industry liaison. Khai Nguyen handles accounting and analytics. Janet Hagstrom does transcription. Letricia Brooks handles content writing and editing. Bryan Bulter is our graphic artist. And under Katie Nystrand’s leadership, the call center and fulfillment efforts day-to-day flow through Emma Hamilton, Laura Hasse, Connor Melvin, Susannah Prewitt, and Abby Samuelson. This team launched Living Hope on top of managing everything related to Pastor Lutzer’s Running to Win programs, our Moody Church Hour weekly broadcast, as well as Songs in the Night.
