The Equipping Classes provide the necessary tools you need to grow in your walk with the Lord, and help you live out the gospel wherever God has placed you. Our ministry runs on the semester system, with classes usually beginning in January and September of each year, plus shorter-length courses offered during the summer months.
We seek to offer our Level One Core Courses on a rotating schedule that enables even those with limited availability to take all classes. Our Level Two Elective Courses generally require completion of some of our Level One classes. All of our courses are designed to help each of us live out core biblical values, allowing the gospel to be the lens through which we view all of life.
For Fall 2021, the Equipping Courses have been set aside to allow the whole church to focus on three fundamentals: worship, community, and service. Our desire is that everyone would commit to something in each area — to attend the worship service, to join a Community or small group, and to find a place to serve.
Equipping will return in January 2022, and we expect to post the schedule of classes in December. Until then, we invite you to visit our Connect page to get involved in a Community or small group, and we look forward to being back with you soon!
Who We Are
In the Scriptures, God calls every follower of Christ to maturity, ministry, and mission.
- Maturity—grow in Christ
- Ministry—serve the body of Christ
- Mission—take Christ to the world
Our hands-on classes give you tools to help you grow in each of these essential areas. Our courses strengthen your prayer life and your understanding of the Bible and our faith, enable you to share your faith with others, and help you answer difficult questions about Christianity. You can find descriptions of our courses below.
We want to help believers develop a gospel–centered worldview, deepening their walk with the Lord and living out the gospel wherever God has placed them. Our mission is to follow the instructions God gave to us in Ephesians:
And [Jesus] gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes.
