Dear Moody Church Family,
And the angel said to the shepherds who were keeping watch over their flocks by night: “Fear not, for I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people” (Luke 2:10). Does this good news bring you great joy this Christmas season? I hope so.
Paul would later affirm this declaration of the angels: “This same good news that came to you is going out all over the world. It is bearing fruit everywhere by changing lives, just as it changed your lives from the day you first heard and understood the truth about God’s wonderful grace” (Col 1:6).
At The Moody Church, we exist to proclaim this good news of great joy all over the world. And this good news continues to bear fruit everywhere by changing lives, just as your life was changed!
We host many events and services during December that are designed for inviting family and friends. Check out the website or bulletin for details. We also continue to proclaim the Gospel around the world through our missionaries and partners who find many opportunities in this season to minister to those who have never heard the good news that brings great joy.
All our ministry is possible because of your faithful and generous giving. Thank you for coming alongside what the Lord is doing in Chicago and around the world through the ministry of The Moody Church! May we continue to serve our King faithfully with our time, talent, and treasure.
