We Millers are so looking forward to being back with our church family this Sunday! After three years of intense doctoral work, this end-of-summer break was just what the doctor ordered. We return refreshed, recharged, and rejuvenated!
This year our thematic emphasis is on the fourth stage of The Journey of a Lifetime: Change Your World through Mission. Through our study in the book of Acts, we are discovering how God changes the world through ordinary people like us, showing and sharing the love of Jesus in the power of the Spirit.
Throughout the year, we will be inspired by short testimonies of how each are responding to Jesus’ invitation to change our world through mission as we join Him in His redemptive work. Each of us has a unique set of gifts and calling as we join Jesus on mission where we live, learn, and play. I invite you to share your own testimony video to encourage others!
Here’s how to start:
1. Write a few sentences about your mission.
2. Film horizontally, under 1 minute.
3. Introduce yourself with your first name and tell your story.
4. End with: “That’s how I’m changing my world through mission!”
