Our Mental Health Ministry shares the conviction that it is possible to live well in spite of having a mental health challenge because of the hope there is in Christ.

In many churches, intentionally or unintentionally, the overriding emphasis is on “victorious Christian living,” with the basic assumption that real Christians don’t have problems– or at least not crippling, persistent problems that prayer won’t cure. This is in direct contradiction to what Jesus said: “Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world” (John 16:33).

Troubled Minds, by Amy Simpson

We utilize a collection of resources to provide simple, innovative and grace-filled mental health solutions and community support to come alongside those experiencing a personal journey with depression, anxiety, or bi-polar. Our mental health ministry is not meant to replace counseling, therapy or medicine, but rather to come alongside with the hope and grace of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Seminars

Welcome to the “Mental Health Toolkit”

Seminar Series!

This mental health seminar is here to guide you through the practice of building your very own mental health toolkit. Each week we will walk through five unique mental health topics: Depression, Anxiety, Trauma, Childhood Trauma, and Grief & Loss. While this series is not meant to replace your need for a one-on-one professional counselor, we do hope and pray that you will take in what the counselors/therapists in this series have to share and allow God to guide you through the next steps of your mental health journey.
