Mark your Calendar: Crossroads Fall Retreat at Gull Lake Ministries is October 9th-11th, 2026
Want to get away and make some life-long friendships? Come make memories with Crossroads this October 9th-11th as we head to Gull Lake in Michigan! You will stay in a beautiful cabin by the lake, have free access to bowling alleys, rock climbing, basketball, volleyball, paddle boating, and amazing Bible teaching by our speaker, Mary Lowman.
This years topic is: Think About What You Think About!
When was the last time you thought about your thought life? Probably not recently if ever! Most Christians don’t feel the need to change their thought patterns. Right thinking, however, is probably the greatest need most of us have, whether we feel it or not. Throughout this retreat we’ll take a close look at what the Bible has to say about what you think about—and it’s a lot!
The event is from Friday, October 9th to Sunday, October 11th in Gull Lake, Michigan. This is a retreat for students who are currently a part of, or actively interested in joining the Crossroads Community.

Tuesdays | 7pm
Our Tuesday night mixed small group, lead by Izzy Huang, will meet in the South Loop at 7 pm every week starting September 1st. They will be going through a study on matters of the heart.

Leadership
Pastor Sean Melvin
Sean Melvin was a church planter and pastor of churches in Kansas and Indiana. He’s made his career in telecommunications and has an MBA with an emphasis in data analytics. He is married to Cristina and is a father to four children and lives in Chicago. Sean has a passion for truth enjoys engaging with the difficult questions around our faith.
Sean and his family have been a part of Moody Church since 2019. He and Cristina have served as mentors to the Crossroads community since 2020, before Sean officially stepped into the role of the Pastor for Crossroads in 2023.
