Crossroads meets weekly at 11:30AM in room 303 of the Moody Church following Sunday worship.
We are currently finishing our Change Your World Through Mission study. This is a church-wide study pushing us to consider how God is calling each of us to join him on mission.
Scripture clearly calls the people of God to bear one another’s burden (Gal. 6:2), to rejoice with those who rejoice and weep with those who weep (Rom 12:15), to confess our sins to one another (James 5:16), and to love one another (John 13:34).
Small groups is one way that we fulfill the many “one another” commands of the New Testament. Whether you’re in the city for your undergrad, graduate school, or working we want to encourage young adults to get into small groups to better love one another.

Our Tuesday night small group, lead by James Yeh, meets in the Loop at 7 pm every week. Currently they are studying through the book of 1 John.

Leadership
Sean Melvin was a church planter and pastor of churches in Kansas and Indiana. He’s made his career in telecommunications and has an MBA with an emphasis in data analytics. He is married to Cristina and is a father to four children and lives in Chicago. Sean has a passion for truth enjoys engaging with the difficult questions around our faith.
Sean and his family have been a part of Moody Church since 2019. He and Cristina have served as mentors to the Crossroads community since 2020, before Sean officially stepped into the role of the Pastor for Crossroads in 2023.
