139 Siblings Hangout

Disability affects the entire family. A disproportionate amount of parental energy is often needed to be focused on a child with special needs. Siblings of those with disabilities often take on an additional title of “caregiver” and lack peers with whom they can relate similar experiences.

Our Siblings Hangout seeks to provide an environment for siblings of those with disabilities to get together for an afternoon of fun. Our adult mentors are all siblings of persons with disabilities and enjoy spending time encouraging younger siblings.
