Group Home Outreach

About

Residents at group homes can often struggle with building friendships and meaningful relationships, thus putting them at risk for higher rates of depression and anxiety. Often the majority of friends outside of their group homes are “paid-friends” and this fact is not lost on many of the residents. Our 139 Friends ministry seeks to remedy this by visiting group homes to build relationships with residents through various activities.

If you are interested in being trained and volunteering with our group home outreach please email us at tmc.139@moodychurch.org

If you are a representative of a group home we would love to explore building a relationship with your residents. Please fill out the request form below and someone will be in contact with you within the next few days.
