The name “139” refers to Psalm 139 where David writes, “For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.” We, at the Moody Church, firmly believe that God made us all wonderfully, and that those with disabilities show us God’s wonder in different ways that we would otherwise miss.

Pastor Eric Targe
Eric is the Pastor of Disability Ministries & University Students. He and his bestfriend, Rebecca, have been married since 2014, they live on the South Side of Chicago with their two children. Eric is passionate about discipling and reaching families affected by disabilities with the hope and love of Jesus.
Elizabeth Wade
Elizabeth serves as the Disability Ministries Coordinator. She is an online student at Liberty University studying Special Education and Missiology with the goal of better sharing God’s story with those of all abilities. She loves to incorporate her love of music, travel, literature, and games into a learning experience.
