Bill’s primary responsibility as Executive Pastor is to oversee the ministries and the ministers of the church.
Dr. Lutzer, former Senior Pastor of The Moody Church and now Pastor Emeritus, is an award-winning author and celebrated speaker.
Interim Teaching Pastor Ed Stetzer is an author, speaker, researcher, pastor, church planter, and Christian missiologist.
Michael has led the Student Ministries since 2008 and is currently providing pastoral leadership to our Crossroads ministry.

Larry McCarthy serves as the Pastor of Senior Adults and Compassion Ministries at The Moody Church.
As Pastor for Community Life, Mark is responsible for helping The Moody Church members catch a vision for what it would be like to live a totally God-centered life.
Josue R. Reyes has served as the Hispanic Ministry Pastor since the fall of 2014.
As a vocalist, guitarist and conductor, Tim is committed to facilitating corporate worship that is Christ-exalting and transformational, and which displays the unity of the Spirit.
Simone has been a member of The Moody Church since 2004. She joined the staff in 2010 to work alongside Mary Whelchel, and in 2016 transitioned to her new role at Naomi’s House.
Ron loves the Lord and desires to see many meet God and learn to live in His grace.
Amy serves as the Hope for Kids Coordinator at The Moody Church. She lives with her husband in Chicago with their three children, two through adoption and one biological.
Mary serves as Director of Women’s Ministries and the Executive Director of Naomi’s House. She’s been a member of The Moody Church since 1981.
Paul Satre has been organist of The Moody Church since 1979, is heard regularly on The Moody Church Hour broadcast and has also played for Songs in the Night.
Eric and his wife Rebecca live on the north side of Chicago, where they are seeking out ways to make Christ known in their community.
Donnita’s goal for By The Hand is to help children have an abundant and eternal life through a ministry that helps renew mind, body and soul.
David sees John 20:21 as a reminder that followers of Christ are sent to reach the world no matter where they live. “Jesus said, ‘Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.’”
Bryan has served as a mentor in the Crossroads ministry since 2011 and is currently providing teaching and administrative leadership to the group.
Brandon has studied music and pastoral ministry, vocal performance, and bassoon performance.
Rochelle joined the Children’s Ministries staff in October 2006 after completing her BMus at MBI. She initially began attending as a student intern, but found a home at The Moody Church.
High on Jan’s list of interests is her involvement in a Precepts Bible study, a deep love for sacred and classical music, and has been a long-time Chicago Symphony Orchestra subscriber.
Lori enjoys family fishing trips to Canada as often as Chris can talk them into it…and can bait a hook and take a fish off the line with the best of them.
Melissa is regularly involved in serving at TMC Kids, tutoring and teaching ESL in professional and volunteer capacities, and spending time with friends from her TMC community.
Aimee counts it a privilege to work in the same building in which she worships each Sunday, and is especially grateful for the friends with whom she works.
Elsa joined the ministry staff at The Moody Church in August of 2013.
As the Managing Director of Operations & Media, Michael oversees day-to-day operations of the church and overall direction for Moody Church Media.
Noble’s goal is to help foster a church/spiritual environment in which all who come seeking Jesus will feel comfortable to connect with God and others.
Serving as Audio/Visual Coordinator, Mike oversees the technical production for Sunday services, conferences and other meetings.
Neelu’s goal is to live for Jesus and be available for God to use her in His grand scheme of things.
Regarding what he has learned about God’s character, Rich says, “Acceptance and forgiveness of so much by God because of His own sacrifice and patience, as we learn and grow as His children.”
A favorite verse of Joseph’s is Psalm 84:10 For a day in your courts is better than a thousand elsewhere. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of wickedness.
Kent oversees contributions, payables, financial reporting, payroll and employee benefits administration.
Bev began attending The Moody Church in 1985 and joined the staff in May 2002; currently she serves as administrative assistant for Facilities and Ministry Services.
Carol Verovich is a financial assistant in accounts receivable on staff since December 2003.
Kristian has a passion for teaching and equipping families to live fruitful lives in Christ, and for promoting excellence in serving Christ.
Kenny has a burden to see the gospel of Jesus Christ proclaimed and defended here in the U.S. and other countries of the world.
Berv Peterson has served as a Deacon and a Trustee, and on the Parking and Christian Education Committees. He currently serves as chairman of our Elder Council.
Joseph Carré attended The Moody Church for the first time in 1994, after faithfully listening to its programming on Moody Radio.
Don Dix came to Chicago, and The Moody Church, in 1956. Throughout all of his years at the church, Don has most appreciated its clear teaching of God’s word and dynamic missions programs.
There are many things that Tony enjoys about The Moody Church, but what he is most excited about is the excellent biblical teaching and diversity.
Steve has served as a Deacon, a member of the Global Outreach and CE Committees, and is a member of the Elder Oversight Council.
Evan has a passion for the church being a healing community and a safe place for people at all stages of their walk with Christ to deepen their relationship with Him and one another.
A Moody Church elder since 1991, Tom is a practicing attorney who is passionate about learning and about defending the gospel.
When he began attending The Moody Church in 1990, the centrality of Christ, biblical teaching, and emphasis on evangelism Ger found helped him to know it was his church home.
Phil most appreciates the excellent teaching available at The Moody Church, along with its faithful witness to the city of Chicago and its diverse congregation.
In addition to his role as the Executive Pastor, Bill also serves as an Associate Elder.
