Winter may be in full swing, but we’re gearing up for another amazing semester of programs and classes at The Moody Church.
We’re excited to introduce you to all that’s happening at The Moody Church this Winter/Spring of 2021. Just because we’re physically separated doesn’t mean we can’t continue to grow in our knowledge and in fellowship. We encourage you to get involved!

Taught by Scott Lilly. Cost $20; class runs 12 weeks (no class Easter Sunday). Click here to register.

The question “who is Jesus of Nazareth?” shapes who we are, what we believe, and how we live. It also decides our eternal destiny. This new course will help us to understand Him better, and in doing so understand who we should be as His people. We’ll look at His place as God the Son from eternity past and the predictions of His coming, His incarnation as the Son of Man, His life, death, resurrection, and ascension, His present work as our High Priest, and His future work as our coming King.
REGISTRATION IS CLOSED
Thursdays beginning February 11, 6:30-7:45pm via Zoom
Are you intimidated to share your faith? Not sure what to say? Do you not feel like an evangelist and wonder if you are simply trying to be something you are not? All are welcome to join this five-week study led by Pastor Eric Targe.

The beginning of a new year is always seen as a good time to grow and change, to pursue healthier habits. But what kind of health is the Lord nudging you toward? Join Pastor Kirk Baker as we look at what the Bible teaches us about spiritual health. What is it? What does it look like? How do we pursue it? We’ll survey the spiritual disciplines as avenues toward greater health and maturity, and practice some of them together in class.

Precept Bible Studies
Exodus: Let My People Go
Tuesdays January 19 – April 27, 9:30-11:30am via Zoom

Mark: Experiencing the Miracles of Jesus
Thursdays January 28 – April 29, 7:00 – 8:30pm via Zoom
Led by Mary Carré.
The most important question you will ever answer is this: Who do you believe Jesus Christ is? With all the opinions floating around – He’s a good man, a teacher, a prophet, the Son of God – how can you know who is right? Mark’s account of Jesus’ life gives you the answer, and it is more action-packed and fast-paced than the other three Gospel records. Rather than rehearsing what people said about Jesus, Mark shows you what Jesus actually did. As you learn to carefully observe Mark’s report, you’ll discover that Jesus left no doubt about who He claimed to be. His miracles demonstrated His authority over sickness and infirmity, spiritual darkness, dead religion, threats from nature, and even death itself.
Acts Part 1: Jesus’ Witnesses Empowered by His Spirit
Saturdays January 16 – March 20, 10:00am – 12:15pm via Zoom
Led by Enosha Simmons.
Luke’s first account was his Gospel in which he recorded all that Jesus began to do and teach. His second account we call Acts, or the Acts of the Apostles, in which Luke recorded what happened after Jesus’ ascension to the Father. Jesus sent the Holy Spirit, empowering the apostles to testify to the power of God in salvation and in living every day for the gospel. Learn how God spread the gospel through witnesses of Jesus’ death and resurrection, and from their examples, how you too can witness to others. Stand in awe of the power of God in believers to endure persecution and suffering for the cause of Christ and embrace His power in your life. Be encouraged by the results of faithful servants holding forth truth in a dark world; watch as the church grows numerically, geographically, and culturally
Kick-off on Saturday February 6, 9:30am–12:30pm in Room 307
Sundays February 14 through March 21, 3:00–4:30pm in Room 303
