Naomi’s House is seeking to fill a full-time position for our Residential Program in DuPage County. As a community of Christian believers who share a faith-based commitment to professional practice to those traditionally marginalized and underserved in society, we strongly encourage applications from groups underrepresented in our communities, specifically ethnic and racial minorities.

The mission of Naomi’s House is to offer hope and healing to women who have suffered from commercial sexual exploitation, and to provide them with tools and resources to begin a new life. We are looking for people who are committed to making a difference in the lives of others, who love God and have a vibrant personal relationship with Him through faith in Jesus Christ and are passionate about loving His people.


Job Title: Residential Director


Job Title Overview: The Residential Director of Naomi’s House will provide leadership, oversight, and program supervision for our staff and participants. The Director is responsible for high quality program design, implementation, evaluation, and effectiveness for women over 18 who have experienced commercial sexual exploitation. This position requires someone who has the gift of leadership, enjoys cultivating others and their gifts, and provides clinical oversite of the current residential day program. Additionally, this role measures the effectiveness of the program and makes changes as needed, ensures the program and staff adheres to the approach to care NH holds. The Residential Director reports to the Executive Director.


Education: A Master’s Degree in social work (MSW) or a related field such as psychology or sociology. LCPC, LCSW, or LMFT preferred.


Related Experience: Candidates should have at least five years of experience in the field of behavioral health with some experience in residential treatment. Candidates should also have experience in administration and oversight for a non-profit organization, including working with volunteers. Training in the following areas is desirable but not required: substance abuse, trauma, PTSD, Certified Alcohol and Other Drugs of Addiction Counselor (CAADC).
