The Thanksgiving and Christmas season is a time when we reflect in gratitude on the greatest gift ever given, the birth of Jesus. As the Psalmist writes, we truly have much to be thankful for.

Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations. (Psalm 100:4–5)

Throughout November and December 2021, we are blessing four of our ministry partners that are doing incredible work beyond our church doors in our city and around the world. This is an opportunity for us to show and share the love of Christ in a tangible way. Will you join us?

Every dollar given will go directly to these four ministries. As in years past, we’re praying for an additional $500,000 beyond our regular giving. Would you prayerfully consider how the Lord is leading you to participate this year?

Whether you give online or you use an offering envelope at one of our services, simply designate “Beyond These Doors” on your gift.

Our Ministry Partners

As Our Own provides a life-long family to the most vulnerable children in India: girls born in the red-light districts and high-risk slums. Why? To revolutionize the way the world cares for vulnerable children—caring for them as our own so that they may experience the love of a family and fulfill the sovereign purpose God has for their lives. Through a family-style care model, top-notch academic curriculum, college scholarships, and more, As Our Own empowers each girl to reach her full God-given potential.

Last year’s offering from the church enabled As Our Own to care in unexpected and extraordinary ways for the mothers and children in the red light district. It also opened the doors to start 2 new programs: 1) Maternal/Pre-natal Care and 2) Our Lighthouse Center (Early Childhood Development – newborn to 3 years old) program which is almost full within a few weeks of starting it!

2021 Beyond These Doors funds would go to support the new programs that are walking alongside kids from birth, providing them an opportunity for abundant life, and loving them as our own.

By The Hand Club For Kids (BTH) is a Christ-centered after-school program that takes kids by the hand and walks with them from kindergarten through college, loving and nurturing them—mind, body, and soul. They currently serve nearly 1,600 kids in under-resourced neighborhoods, helping them have abundant life. With God’s transforming power and the many people who come alongside at different times and in different ways, BTH kids are making tremendous strides. They are succeeding in school—and life.
