Philippians 1: 12-21
Paul was praising God for the gospel. He was such a powerful evangelist that even the Roman guards were being converted and the word of God was spreading.
What is the gospel? It is the good news that all who believe shall have eternal life because of the redemption brought about by Christ’s dying on the cross.
How important is the gospel to us? Do we sometimes soften the gospel to make it more palatable? The gospel is the manifestation of God’s power yet sometimes some of us are ashamed of it. Often we are so comfortable and satisfied that we are afraid to risk our earthly things. Perhaps we should use the cross as a filter to see things through and our vision will not be tainted.

The YMYF community focuses on what God’s Word says about issues facing married couples, with practical teaching and activities designed to help marriages and families grow in grace and fellowship. Mostly composed of couples in their 30s and 40s, newly-marrieds and longer-marrieds are also welcome.
