THREADS - Tracing the Bible's Storyline Themes - News
The Bible is truly an amazing book - it’s actually 66 books that hold together as one meta-story. It was composed by over 45 human authors who wrote over the coarse of over 1,500 years. And yet, even with such magnificent diversity, the Bible holds together as one cohesive story! Only a God-inspired work could accomplish such a feat.
One way the Bible holds together is by the theological themes that trace through from cover to cover. We might think of these as theological “threads” that weave their way through Scripture, tying it all together. Over the next several weeks, we’ll be exploring a handful of these threads. Each week we’ll sit on a them, watching as it builds from creation to new creation, culminating in the person and work of Jesus Christ. We hope you’ll join us for the journey!
