Philip Teams — This Ministry is focused on greeting all the individuals that walk through the doors of The Moody Church. We strive to enable The Moody Church service attendees to receive God’s gifts whenever possible. We want our guests and members to feel like The Moody Church is home! Service teams: Parking Hosts, Parking Validators, Information Desk, Ushers, Greeters, Shuttle Drivers, Medical Response Team, and Security Personnel. Volunteers are needed for all of our services and events.

Visitation Team — Caring and compassionate volunteers are trained to aid the Pastoral Staff in the responsibility of visiting the sick and elderly of our congregation. Times and days of service vary depending on the need.

Barnabas Family of Encouragers — Spiritually mature believers with special training will extend comfort to the hurting, a loving hand to the lonely, and a willingness to help others improve their lives. This ministry encourages, blesses, and helps individuals and families to get through challenging times.

Prayer Watch — Pray regularly for the work of The Moody Church.

Administrative Assistants — Help with class organization, phone calls, mailings, and other special projects.

Nursery — Volunteers needed for Sundays and weekday Bible study times.

Welcome Team— Serves as primary welcome and information resource for all families to the second floor.

Worship Leaders for Sundays — Lead the kids in learning and singing music.

Special Needs Friends — Minister on Sundays to children with Special Needs.

AWANA Leaders — Wednesday evening program for children ages 3 to 6th grade. Strengthen, encourage and take a personal interest in each child, especially his/her spiritual growth.

Sunday School Teachers and Helpers — Encourage and help children grow in their spiritual life.

Vacation Bible School — Organize, assist, plan, or teach for VBS in August.

Sunday Morning Service

• Sound – Setting up microphones, monitors, and other staging as needed. Experience preferred, but not necessary, we will train. Early morning commitment, we usual begin at 7:00am and finish around 11:45.
• Video – We support the in house screens as well as the internet and video overflow areas of the church. We need camera operators, switchers, and directors. Experience preferred, but not necessary, we will train. Would need to be at church and in place by 9:30, finished by 11:30.
• Graphics - familiarity with SongShowPlus, PowerPoint, Photoshop are a big plus, but not necessary, we will train. Same time commitment as video.
• Lighting - aiming lights and operating light board , same time commitment as video

Sunday Evening Gathering

• Sound – setting up microphones, monitors, and other staging as needed. No experience necessary, we will train. This is a good starting point for beginners. 3-hour time commitment, Sunday’s from 3:00pm to 6:30pm
• Graphics – running PowerPoint or SongShow Plus for the evening service. Again, this is a great time to gain experience for beginners. Same time commitment as sound.

General

• Assisting with special events, weddings, luncheons, and other corporate gatherings as needed
• Assisting pastors in creating PowerPoint style presentations and song lyric entries.
