Young Marrieds Young Families

Welcome to the Young Marrieds/Young Families Class! We curiously refer to ourselves as "YMYFs" (pronounced "yim yifs"), communicate routinely via email, and meet regularly each Sunday morning at 11:30 AM in Kappeler Hall, which is the meeting room located at the bottom of the stairs adjacent to the northwest sanctuary entrance/exit in The Moody Church.

We're a bit hard to find but we think you will find the search worthwhile. You will encounter a large and loving group of married couples who are serious about understanding and obeying God's Word.

Most of us have been married 10 years or less; some have started a family and many have not; we come from all parts of the Chicago area and represent a variety of church backgrounds, ethnicities, educations and occupations. We range in age mostly from the 20's to the 40's (excluding our "aged" mentors/teachers Bob & Linda).

The YMYFs actively help new moms with meals, meet in a variety of small Bible study groups, play basketball & volleyball and pick apples and celebrate the holidays together. God is blessing us with growth numerically and, most importantly, spiritually.
