Moms at Moody

If you are a mother and looking to connect with other women in your season of life, you have come to the right place! The Moody Church offers a variety of opportunities to help equip you in the role of mothering in which Christ has called you. In any of our programs you will be challenged to take steps of faith, be a little vulnerable and count on God for your every need.

Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work: If one falls down, her friend can help her up. But pity the woman who falls and has no one to help her up! Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken. Ecclesiastes 4:9-10,12

A Special TMC Community for Single Moms
Beginning very shortly (September 2009), a class for single moms is scheduled for the 11:30 time slot on Sundays, meeting in Room 305. This class is for all single moms, whether your children are still at home or you are an "empty nester."

This class will be led by Mary Whelchel and Diana McGehee, and will use a special program designed for single moms, "Hope and Help for the Single Mom."

Lori Little has produced this exciting DVD Single Mom Bible Study, The 21 Principles of a Healthy Single Mom. Included are powerful teachings from Lori's friends such as Kay Arthur, Dr. Charles Stanley, Dr. John Trent, Stormie Omartian, Elizabeth George and many more.

The 21 Principles of a Healthy Single Mom is divided into four 6-week courses.
