Welcome to Salt! Salt is a ministry to single adults between 25 and 39 years of age and is designed to help you pursue a life of love and service to God and others.

Our vision is to make a difference in the lives of young adults by reflecting the glory of Jesus Christ, revealing His truth and sharing His love for the world. We dothis by encouraging and facilitating your hands-on involvement in worship, fellowship, discipleship and outreach.

Our Worship Team
Beautiful music and Scripture reading can so fill us with the Holy Spirit like little else. We sing both traditional hymns and contemporary songs, pray and read reflective Scripture verses, during our praise and worship time. It is an amazing time that allows each of us to connect with God by offering praise to Him.

Our Teacher
Each week, Pastor Steve Mason leads the teaching. He reveals important biblical truths, demonstrates the realities of God’s loving character and clearly connects God’s principles to our lives today. Through his teaching, we become stronger students of God’s Word, and our Christian growth is nurtured.

Please Join Us!
We meet weekly in Sankey Hall which is located on the lower level of the church. Please visit the Salt information table or view our events calendar for weekly Bible study, small group and social event schedules and locations. Otherwise, please join us in Sankey for the following gathering times:
Sunday, 7:45 a.m. Prayer
Sunday, 8:30 a.m. Worship and teaching

Get Involved with Salt
Besides meeting with us each Sunday morning and during Bible study time, there are many other opportunities to get involved. Whether you’re interested in sports, art, music, books, movies, weekend retreats, restaurants or just hanging out withfriends, our Salt social events are a great way to explore those interests while making new friends who share your love for Christ. Or, joining one of our Branch Ministry Service Projects is a meaningful way for you to lend a hand to those less fortunate. Branch Ministries are those Chicago service organizations supported by The Moody Church through financial assistance and volunteer resources.
