Men’s Retreat / Retiro de Hombres

Friday & Saturday, May 31 & June 1, 2024

Get away from the city and connect with other men at our retreat May 31 & June 1, 2024. Come just for the day on Saturday or come early for a Friday campfire, evening swim, and extended time of fellowship. The event is at Wonderland Camp and Conference Center near Kenosha, Wisconsin.

Join us as we welcome our very own Sean Melvin, Assistant Pastor for University Students and Residents. Our focus will be Living in Victory. For our Spanish-speaking participants, we welcome back Francisco Zuniga.

We will worship together, hear from God’s Word, and have a time of personal reflection. During the afternoon free time, participate in recreational activities like 3-on-3 basketball, archery, a climbing wall, or swimming.

Escápese de la ciudad y conéctese con otros hombres en nuestro Retiro de Hombres, 31 de Mayo y 1 de Junio 2024. Puede venir solo por el día el sábado o llegar temprano el viernes para una fogata, nadar por la noche y un tiempo prolongado de compañerismo. El evento será en “Wonderland Camp and Conference Center” cerca de Kenosha, Wisconsin.

Únase a nosotros para darle la bienvenida a nuestro propio Sean Melvin, pastor asistente para estudiantes y residentes universitarios. Nuestro enfoque será Vivir en Victoria. Para nuestros participantes de habla Hispana, le damos la bienvenida nuevamente a Francisco Zúñiga.

Oraremos juntos, escucharemos la Palabra de Dios y tendremos un tiempo de reflexión personal. Durante el tiempo libre de la tarde, puede participar en actividades recreativas como baloncesto 3 contra 3, tiro con arco, escalar una pared o natación.

February 1 to March 21 then April 11 to May 23 via Zoom

Join us for teaching and small group discussion as Pastor Josué Reyes leads us through a study of 1 & 2 Timothy. From Paul’s letters to Timothy we’ll learn the principles, purpose, and practices of Christian leadership.

There is no book or cost for this series, but registration is required to access the sessions via Zoom.

Pre-registration is not required. Books are available in class for $20.

Parking is available in the church lot at North and LaSalle (next to Walgreens).

King Solomon once said, “Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another.” This gathering is an uncomplicated time of encouragement from God’s Word, sharing our journey, and encouraging one another in prayer. Brothers stand with other brothers through the seasons of life, each helping the other stay true to the calling to be men of God.
