About Us
The MBN Distinguished Speaker Luncheon Series is six lunches held monthly October through December and February through April. Each MBN event features a guest speaker from the top ranks of business, athletics or academia who shares their life story. Ticket price includes a great lunch and the speaker’s talk. MBN is open to both men and women. The luncheons take place at the Union League Club and reservations are required. Lunches start at 11:45am and finish promptly at 1:00pm to enable attendees to return to their workplace in a timely manner.
Our goal is to share the timeless principles of the Bible with today’s business community. Through the life experiences of MBN’s outstanding speakers we are encouraged and given insight in how to meet the moral and ethical challenges we face today with truth and a heart of compassion. Together we can find hope and wisdom that remain changeless in an ever-changing world.
Our theme for the 2011-2012 season is “It’s Time to Pray.” Our theme verse is Jeremiah 29:7, “But seek the welfare of the city where I have sent you into exile, and pray to the LORD on its behalf, for in its welfare you will find your welfare.”
