They Run – We Cheer!

Sunday October 8 |  Cheering begins at 7:00am, Morning Service at 10:00am

This fall, The Moody Church will again be an official cheering section for the Bank of America Chicago Marathon. This is a thrilling opportunity to welcome our neighbors and encourage the 45,000 athletes who run right past our doors.

While the elite runners and wheelchair racers are electrifying to watch, it’s equally inspiring to celebrate the dedication of the thousands of amateur runners. Many from our Moody Church family run each year on behalf of ministries and charities, giving their time and energy for an eternal impact.

Come early, grab a cup of coffee, a donut, and a noisemaker—then make some noise to encourage your brothers and sisters. Let’s make our Cheering Section the best on the course!

Remember that although all our usual parking lots will be open, many streets around the church will be blocked off by 6:30am, so plan to arrive early. If you drive, we suggest arriving between 6:00 and 6:15am to ensure you can get parking.

Also, please note that there will be no TMC Kids programming this Sunday.
