Thank you for your interest in membership at The Moody Church.

For information about becoming a member, please contact Rose in the church office at 312.327.8600.

Membership Candidate Information

Some details regarding the process of becoming a member of The Moody Church.

I. You will:

1. Attend the four required seminars;
2. Read The Moody Church Constitution and Bylaws, noting your questions;
3. Complete and sign the membership application; and
4. Interview with a representative from the Executive Committee
5. Name in bulletin for two consecutive Sundays
6. Executive Committee vote and received into membership

II. Your final approval of membership will be decided upon by the Executive Committee. Your acceptance will be announced to you by letter following that date.

III. On rare occasions it may be recommended that the candidate delay membership until he/she can meet with one of the Pastors to discuss the issue(s) of concern. In such instances, the candidate will be notified promptly.

IV. Candidates will be welcomed into membership on a Sunday morning.

Sessions will be held in Room 107 from 6:45-8:00pm

March 2010 Sessions
Session One: Mar 7
Session Two: Mar 14
Session Three: Mar 21
Session Four: Mar 28
Sessions will be held in Room 305 from 1:15-2:30pm

May 2010 Sessions
Session One: May 2
Session Two: May 9
Session Three: May 16
Session Four: May 23
Sessions will be held in Room 307 from 1:15-2:30pm

August 2010 Sessions
Session One: Aug 1
